He suggested I try stippling... now I know this ain't what one would call stippling but that is what got me started on this... Yea the flower looks funky... I know... I am kinda pissed about that.
I kinda like the idea I had behind this cus it did turn out kinda cool... but if you can tell me ways to make it better... thats spiff

I'd say this is more pointilism or impressionism than stippling, but that's splitting hairs. It's gorgeous, in any case. The colors are really nice, and I like how you formed the contours with the dots. A really successful experiment, I'd say!

The only real distinction between stippling and pointilism, is that stippling is generally a monochromatic technique used for adding texture to a picture, while pointilism is using dots to make the image itself. See? See how I split that hair? Booyah.
